CAD Technician III

WHS is seeking a highly motivated and talented CAD Technician III to be part of our growing team based out of our Colorado office, located in Grand Junction, CO. Our drafting team offers support for all public and private projects delivering expertise for a wide range of municipal, commercial, oil/gas, and industrial clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Project planning, organization, and scheduling;

•  Manage the course of projects, research records, and produce reports for Project Managers and Clients;

•  Review preliminary and final drawings prepared by other CAD Techs;

•  Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, including field data, plats, and other records;

•  Execute requested drawing maintenance, standards, updating, revisions, etc.;

•  Collect, process, and evaluate GPS data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  3-5 year draftsman for land surveying & engineering firm;

•  5-8 years AutoCAD & Trimble Software experience

SKILLS:

• Utilize the latest AutoCAD and/or Carlson software to prepare drawings;

•  Ability to manage project folders and files to company standards;

•  Work proficiently on various projects simultaneously;

•  Coordinate with various departments, including direct contact with clients to produce deliverables;

•  Possible field work may be necessary;

•  Requires the capability of working within a variety of industries including but not limited to, Oil & Gas, Construction & Development, and Government related projects;

•  Must have excellent time management skills, be able to work within and meet project deadlines.
