WHS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Survey Party Chief to be part of our growing team based out of our Brownfield, TX office. Our Civil Engineering and Land Surveying team offer support for all public and private projects delivering expertise for a wide range of municipal, commercial, oil/gas, and industrial clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete job priorities in the field as defined and established by company.
• Determine client/employer needs from existing and new work generated.
• Maintaining communication and information for the office and drafting team.
• Downloading of Data in TBC.
• Maintaining GPS equipment, UTV, and Truck.
• Daily JSA’s and Field notes.
• Light use of AutoCAD.
• Other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3+ years of relevant (oil field work including well location, pipelines, & roads) work experience.
• Some Party Chief Experience.
SKILLS:
• Crew/Survey Helper management experience.
• Will be in the field surveying Well Locations, Access Roads, Pipelines, gathering topo, etc.
• Understanding & application of field notes.
• Understanding of and ability to read and work with blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of Trimble GPS equipment and TBC.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Reading and understanding of numbers.
• Understanding and following Policies and Procedures.
