Fremont County Old Highway 789 Realignment

In December of 2015 WH Smith & Associates worked with the Fremont County Transportation Department to provide the survey and alignment design for the proposed realignment of Old Highway 789, which was being rerouted to avoid two bridges on that road that were structurally deficient to the point of condemnation. Our UAS system was deployed to acquire the topography for the basis of the design, and the subsequent design was completed using data solely collected by remote UAS system.
